Everyday Charcuterie
Today is one of those days where a little charcuterie magic is exactly what I needed. These Everyday Charcuterie platters always bring the cuteness and leave me feeling festive!
Here’s what I put together today—it started out a little sad and bare, but quickly bloomed into something delightful and visually pleasing. And, an hour later, we’re almost finished with it, so I'd say it’s definitely doing its job. As usual, I’m just using what I have on hand—whatever’s in my pantry, fruit bowl, and fridge.
Everyday Charcuterie

Prep time: 5-10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
Salami Slices
Sliced Persimmons - Abundant in the Fall/Winter months
Dried Figs - Fresh figs just went out of season and so, I’ll use dried.
Blueberries
Cherry Tomatoes, butterflied in halves and sprinkled with sea salt
Black Olives
Grainy Fruit/Nut Crackers
Fresh Mozzarella, sprinkled with sea salt - My kids love fresh mozzarella so it winds up on the Charcuterie quite often.
PREPARATION
Combine in little pleasing piles on the plate, making sure everything is accessible and ready for consumption. I like to make the plates look cozy and have the food nestled next to each other. Sometimes, I’ll add some decorative objects not intended for consumption like some fresh Oregano Sprigs like I’ve done on this plate.
